Pardon me, I’m new here.
I’m trying to run Hive from the command line, but it never seems to come back with a prompt. It was working fine for me on Saturday, but today, no luck.
There’s an error on the dashboard complaining the the “Metastore” failed.
Could you please take a look?

Thank you for letting me know. We were cleaning up the older databases of expired users that lead to metastore freezing up. We have fixed it now.
Experiencing the same issue while using hive with web console.
I have tested today. It seems to work fine.
I am not able to run anything on my Hive query editor in Hue.
Can someone help?
Please use hive from console.
