While loop as indefinate loop

I did not understand the assignment.

I tried to sum range of values upto n but it is giving me only 45 values

Please clarify.

It is not giving me output as 55.

Why

Try just printing i. You will understand that range(0, n) give a range from 0 to n - 1.
