What technologies and which versions are supported for hands-on practice on CloudxLab?

CloudxLab is a cloud-based lab for practicing Hadoop, Spark and related Big Data technologies. All the configuration and management part is being taken care by us so that the users can practice without the hassle of setting up a cluster. List of technologies available: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, Pig, HBase, Oozie, Zookeeper, Flume, Sqoop, Mahout, Linux, Scala, R, Python, etc. Also, please find here the list of Hadoop components versions installed on CloudxLab.

Configuration: We provide the Hortonworks Data Platform. The Hadoop version on the cluster is 2.7. We also provide Hue from Cloudera to analyze data using web interface. Currently we have 7 nodes in the cluster. We automatically scale up and down based on the cluster load. Each node has 2-8 cores and 8-32 GB RAM depending on the services running on them.
