#1

Hello Team,

I am trying to ingest data from sqoop by providing password as a file to secure my password. But I am getting an error as below. Kindly help me with this.

sqoop import --connect jdbc:mysql://ip-172-31-13-154/retail_db --username sqoopuser --password-file hdfs:///user/cvkonduru7525/sqoop.password --table cities.

And the error is as below.

Hello Team,

I resolved it. While creating the password file by using echo we should use -n so that it won’t consider a newline before the desired text.

It worked.

Cheers,
