Unable to enter a password in sqoop and unable to proceed further.

You cannot enter the password, you just copy and paste it ctrl+v in the console.

here is your command.
sqoop import --connect jdbc:mysql://cxln2.c.thelab-240901.internal/sqoopex --table widgets -m 2 --hive-import --username sqoopuser -P --hive-database sqoop_testing
