Telnet Not working --Flume

Hi,

I am in the process of getting data for flume by executing telnet command. But when executed Telnet, it is showing command not found. Could you please check and let me know.

[maheshharuvaiah8134@ip-172-31-60-179 ~]$ telnet
-bash: telnet: command not found
