@Rakesh_Vashishtha, @manjunatha_K,
Please note that, as a real-time BigData developer, i can vouch that, lot of projects & companies are using Hue as a developer interface. Hue is available in Dev, & Production environments. By default every developer will have access to Hue in Dev cluster, regarding in production it is available to only production team, we can request for temporary access, while our projects are deploying.
About Hue as a main development interfaces, let me clarify that, most of coding will be done in IDEs (Eclipse, PyCharm, intellij), be it MapReduce or Spark programs. While other development regarding, Hive, HBase & Oozie, we will be doing in both places, desktop code editors & Hue.
We can use both, we need to learn both interfaces. Hue provides more options & free to use.
Regarding that it’s heavy to maintain, it’s not a developer’s problem, infrastructure & DevOps team will take care of it. As a developer, we can request our requirement with teams, they will provide necessary support.
Please feel free to post your questions here.
