When we create a file in HDFS which will be impacted?
- Namenode only
- Datanode only
- Both namenode and datanode
Creating a file meaning adding data to the file ? Since, creating a file of course impacts the Name node since it stores the name of the file as metadata. But, do you mean we are also adding contents in the file? If yes, then data node is also impacted. Please let me know.Thank you!
