Can you hook up from my copy of MongoDB on my computer to cloudxlab’s Hadoop or/and Spark.
If so can you tell me the connection string or where to find it.

We don’t allow access to HDFS and YARN from outside. So, your best bet is HIve Server, HBase REST and Spark Thrift server.
You can run your own spark thrift server and try to connect MongoDB to it.
