Why do we use the command "Spark\ -\ Key\ Value\ " while you copy or move the file from your local machine to the e.cloudxlab server?

We do not user "Spark\ -\ Key\ Value\ " while we copy or move the file from your local machine to the e.cloudxlab server?
We use scp client such as WinScp or scp command on mac/linux.
